We explicitly compute the homology groups with coefficients in a field of characteristic zero cocyclic subgroups or even Artin FC-type. also give some partial results case when are taken prime characteristic.

Even Kernels
Given a graph G = (V,E), an even kernel is a nonempty independent subset V ′ ⊆ V , such that every vertex of G is adjacent to an even number (possibly 0) of vertices in V ′. It is proved that the question of whether a graph has an even kernel is NP-complete. The motivation stems from combinatorial game theory. It is known that this question is polynomial if G is bipartite. We also prove that th...
متن کاملToric Complexes and Artin Kernels
A simplicial complex L on n vertices determines a subcomplex TL of the ntorus, with fundamental group the right-angled Artin groupGL. Given an epimorphism χ : GL → Z, let T L be the corresponding cover, with fundamental group the Artin kernel Nχ. We compute the cohomology jumping loci of the toric complex TL, as well as the homology groups of T L with coefficients in a field k, viewed as module...
متن کاملHomology of some Artin and twisted Artin Groups
We begin the paper with a simple formula for the second integral homology of a range of Artin groups. The formula is derived from a polytopal classifying space. We then introduce the notion of a twisted Artin group and obtain polytopal classifying spaces for a range of such groups. We demonstrate that these explicitly constructed spaces can be implemented on a computer and used in homological c...
متن کاملHomology of Subgroups of Right-angled Artin Groups
We describe the (co)homology of a certain family of normal subgroups of right-angled Artin groups that contain the commutator subgroup, as modules over the quotient group. We do so in terms of (skew) commutative algebra of squarefree monomial ideals.
متن کاملThe `-homology of even Coxeter groups
Given a Coxeter system (W, S), there is an associated CW-complex, denoted Σ(W, S) (or simply Σ), on which W acts properly and cocompactly. This is the Davis complex. L, the nerve of (W, S), is a finite simplicial complex. We prove that when (W, S) is an even Coxeter system and L is a flag triangulation of S, then the reduced `-homology of Σ vanishes in all but the middle dimension. In so doing,...
